Mastermix Selection TooloasigPLUS introduces a unique technology that eliminates reverse transcriptase activity at room temperature resulting in improved multiplexing results and superior performance.
Multiplex RNA assays are of an increased risk of non- specific artefact formation (eg primer dimers) due to increased number of primers.
This is due to the Reverse transcriptase (RTase), the enzyme required to drive the PCR of RNA targets, being active at room temperature during reaction setup when primers are bound in a non-specific fashion.
oasigPLUS OneStep Master Mix utilises tightly controlled temperature dependent reverse transcriptase enzyme technology. Unwanted primer interactions during room temperature set-up are therefore removed resulting in improved multiplexing performance.
